Williamsville – Williamsville derived its name from one of the first settlers, Jonas Williams. Williamsville was the first and largest settlement in the Town of Amherst and became an incorporated village in 1850. The Village was settled first because of its location on the main road to Buffalo and because it was next to Ellicott Creek.
The Village features some of the finest professionals in the area, with offices conveniently located in the commercial district. Ingram Micro, Tony Walker Companies and Northrop Grumman are all a part of Williamsville. Find all the unique restaurants and great gift shops along Main Street. Beautiful Glen Falls and Historic Water Mill located in the center of the Village is a must see
